Pull off those dull colours

The mall was packed, but alas, to my utter dismay there was nothing hip, trendy and happening about the dudes and dudettes I saw there. All the ladies seemed to have come out of the same fashion conveyor belt. The guys too... I asked myself if I missed the memo that said all ladies should wear black leggings, with whatever lousy top and boring sandals.

As for the guys, the memo would have read: "A pair of trousers, navy blue t-shirt and flip flops".
