Producing music from a shack

All a person needs is good artistry and versatility.  Emmanuel Batshegi produces good music from his 'Shack Studio' in Moshupa with astonishingly good results.

A utility producer, Emasto, as he is affectionately called by his peers, the nippy man produces a variety of genres from gospel, kwaito, disco to house music.  The equipment inside his makeshift studio is very simple with very few components, a small mixing table, two small speakers, a single keyboard and a laptop.  Batshegi has never done sound engineering, formally learnt how to play any musical instrument nor has he attended any computer lessons.
