President's concert unforgettable

This year's President's Concert held at Maru-a-Pula School's Maitisong Theatre on Friday was a memorable international affair and probably the best ever.

Spain, India, Zimbabwe, Portugal, Scotland and of course Botswana were some of the countries represented by performers in the concert aptly dubbed "One Planet. One Passport. One Love".

The first half of the show, written and directed by Maru-a-Pula drama teacher Clayton Ndlovu, was dedicated to Botswana.  It was a folktale, told in the ancient way - sitting around a fire, an elder passing the story on to youngsters for posterity.
