Poor preparations mar Zebras' build-up

The Zebras' preparations for the 2014 World Cup qualifiers' opening tie against Central African Republic (CAR) have been shoddy, coach Stanley Tshosane has said.

This follows the Botswana Football Association's (BFA) failure to pay for training grounds in Gaborone. The Zebras play CAR on June 2, but before then the boys have a friendly date against Iraq. Tshosane lamented over the training ground mix-ups, saying it has affected their preparations.

BFA reportedly did not pay for the BDF, Duma FM and Bank of Botswana (BoB) grounds, which are usually used by the team for their training sessions. The Zebras were refused access to the BDF training ground in Mogoditshane on Monday, but were only allowed to train for less than 15 minutes after the intervention of Botswana Premier League (BPL) general manager, Phutego Setete.
