Police band thrills Brazilians

The Botswana Police Service band is still very much alive and rose to the occasion on Friday night at a special dinner organised for the Brazilian delegation that was in the country for the past week.

The event hosted at the SSG camp in Gaborone, started with the band playing soul music as guests enjoyed their meal.  The tempo of the night kept on changing as the Police traditional dance group got to the stage and started their performances with 'Tsotsobe' then Setapa and Phatise. The group clearly warmed up the night for the delegation from the land of the famous samba dance.

Next on the stage was the choir which started their performance with fugue music, singing two songs before they turned to traditional songs like Magae Magarona, a song that talks about men who have left their homes and asking them to go back to their homes.
