Peach's Mystar road nearing the end?

It was rather an unfortunate night for one of the Mystar show's most loved contestants, Peach Kereemang on Friday when he missed elimination by a whisker.

He was one of the shock elimination contestants this week when he found himself among the bottom three, needing the judges favour to proceed to the next round. He should be worried now and up the ante after the judges saved him with a stern warning that he must deliver or face the axe. Even though his fans approved of his performances, the judges were not so impressed, urging him to work harder next time. Unfortunately, One was eliminated, leaving the total number of contestants to nine. Mascom gave her P2, 000, a cell phone with P150 airtime, water bottle and a keyholder.  It was the second week since  the contestants began performing task songs, whereby they are expected to create melody for the lyrics and instrumental provided. The task song was about a partner who has broken up with a long-time lover and cannot bear the loneliness any more.

However, the lack of technical skills was evident as the contestants failed to identify the bridge and the chorus, something that the judges said was characteristic of amateur artists. Judge, Kgomotso Tshwenyego  observed that they  need to be taught to identify the bridge and chorus. She pleaded with the nation to volunteer in teaching these upcoming stars how to sing as they (the judges) have much on their hands.
