Peace Concert on Nov 13

The Embassy of France and the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany are sponsoring the concert. The Green Mountain Trio is composed of three local classical musicians: Gudrun Weeks on the  violin, Volker Keding on the cello and Verity Knight, piano.

Featured music, all very accessible to the untrained listener, will include before the intermission: Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750) Violin Sonata III for violin and piano, Adagio and Allegro;  Joseph Haydns (1732-1809) Piano Trio, Allegro; Gabriel Maries (1852-1928) La Cinquantaine (wedding) for cello and piano; Johannes Brahms (1833-1897) Sonata No.1 Op.78, Vivace.
