Pampiri's debut exhibition a resounding success

Two-time Visual Artist of the Year winner Phenyo Pampiri left a lasting impression when he launched his debut solo exhibition on Friday at Khwest in Gaborone.

Seeing through the artwork, it was evident the artist's theme for the night was inspired by the 16 Days of Activism Against Violence Against Women and Children.

One outstanding artwork that was on exhibit was titled Amidst The Threatening Weather Stood An Object, which was made in 2007. The piece, done with charcoal and pastel on fabriano, portrays street kids in Gaborone.
