Oneal escapes possible eviction by a whisker

Botswanas Oneal escaped being up for possible eviction by a whisker this week, as the Head of house for the Ruby house, Ghanas Elikem had decided to save himself from possible eviction and place Oneal in his place, but quickly took a U-turn and decided to go with a different housemate as replacement for himself.

It seems luck was on Oneal’s side as the Ghanaian unexpectedly had a change of heart and asked Big Brother if he could change his replacement. He then decided to change from replacing himself with Oneal, rather choosing to replace himself with South Africa’s Angelo instead, making it Angelo’s first time to be up for possible eviction. Elikem had earlier in the day nominated Oneal, saying that it was not personal, noting that he feels Oneal is a strong contender. Oneal survived eviction with four votes a fortnight ago, at which time the other contender from Botswana, Motamma got evicted.

This week a total of seven housemates are up for possible eviction, being South Africa’s Angelo, Zimbabwe’s Pokello and Hakeem, Zambia’s Cleo, Malawi’s Fatima, Tanzania’s Nando, and Ethiopia’s Bimp. In the Diamonds house, the Head of House, Nigeria’s Melvin after a long struggle decided to save Ghana’s Selly and put up Zimbabwe’s Hakeem instead.  Meanwhile, this week’s task is staging a wedding. The pairing for the wedding week was done anonymously, as Big Brother instructed the women to go into the garden and pick bow ties, while the men were instructed to pick rings from the storeroom, with the head of house announcing that the two with matching ring and bow tie will be bride and groom.
