Octagon Gallery hosts breathtaking Japanese photo exhibition

The Botswana National Museum and Art Gallery's Octagon Gallery is hosting the 'Counter-Photography: Japan's Artists Today,' which opened on November 9 and is scheduled to run until November 27.

The exhibition is organised by the Embassy of Japan in collaboration with the Museum and Department of Arts and Culture under the Ministry of Youth, Sport and Culture.

It is a unique display of an array of artistic inspiring photographs, capturing different situations and scenarios.  In the foreword Curator at the Shoto Musuem of Art, Yuri Mitsuda, describes photography as a medium that accurately records reality.
