'Naisi Boy' gives gospel hip-hop touch

With the release of his third album, 21-year-old artist Lesego "Naisi Boy" Motlhagodi says he hopes to introduce and popularise a new genre.

The genre that he calls "Dramatic Music", after which the album is named, is essentially hip-hop gospel.  However, in an interview with Showbiz Naisi Boy insisted that his new music, to be released in August, will have "storyline actions" with which he will minister through hip-hop.

"You will understand why I called it Dramatic Music when you hear the song," the Serowe-born musician said. Naisi Boy said apart from ministering through his music, he also hopes to use it to address various social problems.
