The pressure is mounting for both the judges and the contestants for the show to reach Top 20 where the real job begins and dreams are shattered.For some contestants, having not been in the bottom since the beginning of the show, had a bitter pill to swallow when they had to leave the show.For Thapelo, on the other hand, since she was in the bottom and was saved by the judges, it was no surprise that the exit door was finally open for her.
However, despite receiving an early exit to their dreams, Goitseone and Letlhogonolo showed a lot of promise in the two weeks of the show. This clearly demonstrated that, with time, they could have been better competitors.The show now remains with 26 contestants, some of whose performances and vocal talent leave much to be desired.As for Lettie who has been struggling since the beginning of the show, only God knows why he still in the competition.He is one contestant who has been told very frankly, especially Sid, that he can't sing at all.But it boils down to what the audience wants and they are keeping him on the show through their votes. Friday's show was much better than the disastrous past two weeks shows where contestants struggled vocally. It was also interrupted by technical problems which forced the show to go longer than expected. Most of the remaining contestants showed improvement vocally and in their stage presence.
