Mosimanegape elected new BOMU chief

Rhumba giant Alfred Mosimanegape is the new president of the Botswana Musicians Union (BOMU).

Mosimanegape, who was unopposed because Socca Moruakgomo did not seek re-election, was elected during the BOMU general assembly held at the University of Botswana (UB) on Saturday.

The vice president (administration and operations) is Dat Crew member Otsile Ramorwa while the vice president (finance and research) is Percy Bakwena.  Bakwena had served on the BOMU executive as a treasurer.  He defeated former treasurer, Letsweletse Moshabi.
