Highly experienced and skilled borankana troupes, Mogwana lead a group of three traditional dance groups that would entertain guests at the annual Letlhafula Festival in Gaborone this coming weekend.

The widely-travelled Mogwana will be joined at the Letlhafula event by Kgabosereto of Thamaga, and Dikgafela of Gaborone. The selection of the three groups was finalised on Saturday evening following two weeks of rigorous process that saw various traditional groups battling for the limited spots in front of judges and a cheering audience at the Botswanacraft.

On Saturday five dance troupes took part, where three went through to the Letlhafula Festival.  Magapatona, Tsogang, Mabutswapele, are the other participants who did not go through on Saturday.  Interestingly award-winning Ditholwana failed to pitch up on Saturday though they had indicated they would be around to compete for one of the slots.
