Moathodi crowned Miss Independence Francistown

FRANCISTOWN: After outperforming 16 rivals, 24-year-old Mphogape Moathodi was crowned the new Miss Independence Francistown during a beauty pageant held at the Tati River Lodge over the weekend.

Although the show was not well-attended the handful who turned up to witness the beauty of Batswana models, were not disappointed.  The stage was decorated with the elegance of the 16 beauties vying for the coveted crown.  They exhibited their outfits in various styles and preferences, but it was obvious that Moathodi charmed the judges so much that they crowned her.

Her catwalk was also a refined masterpiece as she slowly walked towards the judges, pleasing the viewers with that million-dollar smile of hers. Screams, shouts and ululations became the order of the day.
