Within a week of Miss Vision 2016 being crowned, Kiss Africa Entertainment (the contest organisers) kept their promise to the beautiful winners to hand over to them the prizes they won. This they did at a prize giving ceremony held at News Cafe in Gaborone on Saturday.

The contestants who did not make it to the top three received small packages which, according to the organisers, represented the pillars they denoted. Even though most of the young women looked unhappy with the small packages of beauty products a few said it was better than getting nothing at all. All the contestants won free memberships at Curves Gym in Partial; those who did not make it to the top three won three days workouts; Second Princess, Reagile Kopi, won three months membership; First Princess, Sheila Olefhile, received six months' membership and the Queen, Boipelo Mbaakile, got 12 months free membership voucher.

Both the Queen and her princesses won cell phones sponsored by Zaine shop. They also walked away with prize money. Kopi walked away with P1,000, Olefhile P2,500 and the beautiful Mbaakile walked away with a whopping P5,000.  The event director, Phuthego Chere, said for starters, he believes they did a good job and wish to give the contestants of the coming years better prizes. He said they would be working closely with all the 12 contestants in their campaigns as they all represent different initiatives. They wish to encourage the public to live out the pillars as they know that people are informed on the pillars but do not put them to practice. He said it is his wish that the queen goes to China in December when the Chinese will be celebrating and preparing for their Vision 2020. He believes this would enable her to learn how the youth there prepare and how they plan to prepare for their Vision 2020.
