After the success of last year when they produced a Miss World first princess in Emma Wareus, the Miss Botswana Pageant organisers early this week announced they are working on a television production for a reality show highlighting behind-the-scene shots and interviews of the 2011 pageant scouting.

They hope the series would give viewers an insight into what the critical factors in the making of a beauty queen, besides branding the pageant, are.

The production would then be filmed on a partner television network, the organisers said at a media briefing where they told journalists that the success of the Miss Botswana pageant has attracted interest from several television networks, especially after it managed to produce a world beauty last year.  Since Bissau Gaobakwe and business partner, Thapelo Pabalinga, took over the Miss Botswana pageant and revamped its image and integrity three years ago, the pageant has never been shown on national television.
