Masilo play leaves audience teary

The play was about an old man. (played by Tefo Paya who is also a Drama teacher at MaP). Paya narrated the story- about the challenges of a young boy who grew up to be a successful man- to his grand children. The story was set in a rural setting and as the narrator told it, he set with his grandchildren around a fire, as was custom in the olden days during story time (mainane).
The family set arround the fire near a mud hutlistening attentively to the story of Masilo.
It underscores the indispensable role women play in our society, particularly in building strong households and nurturing families.
