Masekela, Moruakgomo rock Jazz lovers

It was a night of the horns as the Botswanacraft Courtyard hosted two trumpeters of world renown on Friday.

The trumpet men who blew the night away were the legendary South African Afro jazzman, Hugh Masekela and Botswana's own Socca Moruakgomo. The two artists lived up to their reputation as they captivated revellers. They blew a storm during the well-attended show.

It was Moruakgomo, who went on stage first at around 9 pm after the Botswana Jazz Quintet had performed. By then the courtyard was almost filled to capacity. Moruakgomo does not perform everyday and when he goes on stage you should expect fireworks.
