This will be my first time in Botswana and I hope by the end of my visit I will be thinking twice about going back home," KBG said from his Blantyre base. He believes his visit to Botswana marks the start of a fruitful union. He first met the up and coming group (X-Calibre) when he was in Cape Town, South Africa at the Afrofest. He shared the stage with them at Sho Baraka's War Zone Concert in Livingstone, Zambia. Already, KBG has been drafted onto the list of African artists who will produce songs for the Misfits Boombox Africa second edition. The project is an initiative by a local DJ, Riley Serojane and his hosts next weekend, X-Calibre, are also an integral part of it. "This will create unity therefore building towards an industry that will be supportive of each other across borders." Interestingly, KBG said he will sing his songs in his Nyanja language."Botswana should expect to hear a new tongue," he said adding, "but I will go all out and give my best as I support X-Calibre. I'm also hoping to learn a few words in Tswana," he assuredly added. He is likely to belt out his famous Yesu Khristu Ndi Nyatwa, the classic beat that came out of his underground album Fight The Good Fight.

The founder of NyaliMusik, KBG, has previously performed in Cape Town and Livingstone and his Gaborone visit makes it the third outside his native country. He is currently working on his new album that is likely to be out in March. His new single Krazy 4U has what it takes to take Malawi by storm. He features his close ally, David Kalilani in the track. KBG grew up in a township called Ndirande and describes it as kasi (poor, densely populated township) and grimy.
