Majalisa overcomes grief to star at Molapowabojang

Life can be real hell, especially when you have a career in music and entertainment. Obligatory contracts seldom leave room for bereavement, hence one has to perform when he or she is supposed to be mourning the death of a loved one.

South African pop queen Patricia Majalisa buried her mom in East London, South Africa, and quickly flew to Botswana for two shows at Nature Paradise Club in Mogoditshane and Molapowabojang - on Friday and Saturday respectively.

But the veteran sturdy vocalist managed to put the great loss behind her and focus on the job. The last time she toured Botswana her shows were not convincing and many started suggesting that leaving Dan Tshanda's Dalom stable was a mistake, advising the musician to rethink her decision.
