Mafika A Tumelo, a gospel group comprising members from different churches, has released its debut album titled Kgang ya Modimo, which hit the shelves in December last year.

Even though the album is the group's very first, it is polished and should keep gospel music lovers on their feet with its inspirational messages, and praise and worship songs.  Gospel music is one of the most popular genres around the country.

The album is a marvel to listen to, and it is very clean, with voices carefully blended to create a melody that is friendly to the ear. The group, according to the chairperson Victor Mhatlhe, was formed in 2001 in Gaborone at Babusi Hall, and currently comprises 18 members.
