Local celebs to star in dancing with the superstars series

At least 10 local household names have been included in the inaugural television series - Dancing With The Superstars - whose premier recording is set for October 27 at Boipuso Hall, Gaborone.

Modelled on hit music TV series like So You Think You Can Dance, and Strictly Come Dancing, the Botswana Television (Btv) production, to air on the national broadcaster, will run for two months with eight episodes, and then continuing again with Season Two.Talented singer and pianist Kennedy Thal is among the nine musicians selected for the show.  Thal reached the finals of the 2011 My African Dream (MAD).

Rapper Apollo Diablo, also a tv presenter at e-Botswana, also makes the list, which includes trumpeter Lister Boleseng, Ladies of Jazz; Punah Gabasiane, Nunu Ramogotsi and Kearoma Rantao as well as Afro-pop woman, Hellen Dikobe, and R&B man, Eugene Jackson.  TV personalities include Joel Keitumele, aka Ntsoro, Mosa of Flava Dome and Loungo Pitse (MAD presenter).
