Local artists impress at Bots craft open Mic

Artists across different genres came together for a jam session on Friday night at Botswana Craft's Mogopong.

Oliver Groth, the organiser of the gig who is also Botswana Craft managing director said the day was about artists performing for themselves. "Everyone is free to come on stage and perform, during this event",  he said.

It was even a much greater day for newer musos eager to showcase  their talent. They had the chance to learn from veterans like Ndingo Johwa. Khaya Groth, a member of XX who also plays for Samantha Mogwe, Tayonga Makotore of Brand New Vibes and the Stampore Trio as well as Leroy Nyoni took turns playing drums.
