Lingerie, a womans ticket to pride and joy

Lingerie is regarded as a woman's ticket of pride and joy while to a young couple it is the priceless treasure that keeps the fire burning. Naughty boys and girls wear lingerie to define their characters. It is also the womans best friend.

Even though some Batswana (more especially the elderly people) do not know much about it because to most what kind of underwear they put on is immaterial. This is in stark contrast with the young generation who seem to be adapting and adjusting to changes brought by lingerie, which is basically a French creation. Galyn Moss, the owner of Temptress Lingerie shop at Molapo Crossing said: "Elders do not like lingerie but the younger generation buy it and some of them are regular customers."

Moss encourages Batswana of different generations to buy lingerie as it boosts both men and women's confidence. She said that her lingerie shop caters for all generations and has a variety of collections to suit every individual’s taste and sense of style.According to Reuters news agency, in the United Kingdom (UK) Britons regard lingerie as fashionable and possibly alluring undergarments while the French apply the name to all underwear for both genders.  In Botswana we regard them as underwear. Lingerie is not just about panties but has much to offer singles and couples. Unlike just an ordinary underwear or panty, lingerie can make a person go places as it brings that unique sense of beauty to the person wearing it.
