Borankana musician Kganka (Marks Ofentse) is recovering after a near fatal accident last weekend, which left one of his dancers in a critical condition.

Kganka, who rose to prominence three years ago with the release of his debut album titled Ke Thutswe Ke Koloi Ya Di Gas, was travelling with his band from a gig in Bobonong when the accident occurred in the early hours of the morning.

"It was just by the will of God that we managed to survive.  I had serious head and leg injuries while one of the dancers was in a critical condition and had to be transferred from Selebi-Phikwe hospital to Nyangabgwe in Francistown," he said. The former Ramco Records stable-mate has been travelling around the country promoting his new album, Ke Iteilwe Ke Producer.
