Jackson eyes booming African market

Award-winning Afro-pop pin-up, Eugene Jackson's two-year sabbatical from recording is nearing an end with his second album in the works.

The talented musician is looking beyond Botswana this time around as he has started courting distribution companies in neighbouring countries to market and sell his music. Jackson is almost done with the 10-track album and if the way the song Dali Wam' has been received by those that have attended his shows is anything to go by, then the album promises to be first class.

"I've performed one of the songs from the next album at my shows and it's already a favourite among those who have attended my shows. The song is called Dali Wam', it's a love song, very slow and it's laid back and a bit mature. I sing about love all the time," Jackson told Showbiz.
