Gospel artist, vows to combat poverty

Gospel artist, Kabelo Kgaodi, better known as Kabelo Eric has said that he has heeded President Ian Khama's call for people to help house the needy in the country.

Speaking to Showbiz in an interview, the artist said that as part of his plan to combat poverty and lack of proper housing in the country, he has identified a family in Gantsi, which is sheltered in a dilapidated shack and that he intends to build them a decent house.

"My job has exposed me to heart-rendering situations and as an artist, I decided to do my bit to help the poor of this nation because I have realised that our government cannot be able to address all poverty-related issues alone," said the artist who is also based in the township of Gantsi where he works as a health officer in the district AIDS coordinator's office.
