The show kicked off with 28 housemates from 14 countries who have now been reduced to nine who are still in the running for the money. On Sunday it could be game over for the remaining Botswana contender Oneal; the other contender Motamma got evicted roughly a month into the game. While all the survivors are hoping that they will be the ultimate winner of the prize, the reality is that only one housemate will walk away $300, 000-richer and the question right now is: who will it be? Oneal is up for possible eviction alongside his romantic interest: Tanzania's Feza, and Ethiopia's Bimp.
Oneal and Feza have come under scrutiny since their relationship started and have since become the most talked about couple in this season's Big Brother Africa (BBA). While the reality show is supposed to provide entertainment, viewers seem to have taken the game to another level, hurling insults at housemates, at each other and, in some instances, posting insulting comments about certain countries.The viewers appear to be playing a significant role in influencing the votes as some even twist words of housemates to get other viewers' support in hating the housemates. Oneal is not a favourite in Nigeria, and Ghana, with a considerable number of viewers from both countries posting negative comments about him.
