Gabasiane weeps as she is ordered off the stage

Afro jazz songbird Punah Gabasiane was left weeping after being ordered off the stage by Millennium Jazz Restaurant owner Shima Monageng in preference for unrecorded South African artist, Quincy-K.

It is still puzzling why the promoters decided to 'import' an unrecorded foreign artist.  In fact, Quincy-K dismally failed to conquer the crowd due to the fact he was playing cover songs of other artists and making a mess of them.

During the Bhudaza Mapefane show on Sunday, the Millennium boss ordered that Gabasiane, who was the only local artist to perform, should leave the stage after playing only three songs for about 10 minutes.  Gabasiane was scheduled to perform for one hour, but Monageng would have none of it.
