Gabasiane releases sizzling Botho album

The 10-track Afro jazz album successfully fuses contemporary and traditional music, social commentary and Afro-hypnotic jazz in a unique and spellbinding creation that appeals to both the old and the young.   Gabasiane does not shy away from tough issues.

She is amongst the best lyricists of our time.  If one is conversant with the vernacular he/she will appreciate that she is also a talented composer. Some of the tracks on the album include the title track itself, Botho.  There are other tracks like Tortoise (Khukhwanyana); Botsogo; Senonnori; Bana; Sheila; Botswana, My Love; Mosadi Yo; and Ngwana-A-Malome.
