Flavour gives Batswana the Nigerian flavour

Flavour's performance at Gaborone International Convention Centre (GICC) on Saturday night did more than just cement the popularity of his biggest hit with his Botswana fans.

It also proved how far-reaching contemporary Nigerian music and culture have reverberated across the continent.

Along with his wildly popular Nwa Baby (Ashawo Remix), Flavour (real name Chinedu Okoli) gave Gaborone a taste of his highlife music with hits from albums Uplifted and N'Abania.  Songs like Oyi (I dey Catch Cold) and Turn Me On are not as well-known as Nwa Baby, but the singer managed to get the audience singing along with him.
