Eureka: a computer engineer who worships hip-hop

FRANCISTOWN: Tebogo Motsie aka Eureka the Cover boy is one of the most celebrated rappers in Botswana today.

In just four years, he has grown from being unknown on the music scene, to being play-listed on every radio station in the country. He won the Best hip-hop Album award in the 2009 Mascom-BOMU Awards and was nominated as the Best newcomer at the same  awards ceremony.

 As part of the Pan African group Struggle Entertainment, Eureka performed in the Cape Town International Festival (2006) and the Rand Easter Show (2007).  Later that year, he released a four-track EP, Almost Famous, which featured his first hit single as  a solo artist Looney Tunes.
