Eugene Jackson shines at Mascom live session

Patrons who braved the cold for the third Mascom Live Sessions hosted by Botswanacraft on Friday night, had much to be grateful for in Eugene Jackson.

The Afro-pop singer, the third performer of the night, was the one who got music lovers on their feet shaking off the cold.

Supported by a live band and a trio of dancers, Jackson opened his set with one of his hit songs, Phantsha.
While showgoers were initially slow on the uptake, reluctant to leave the circles and the heaters they had huddled around, as Jackson and his band went on with their set, they swayed people to get up onto the dance floor.
