DJ Disphoza out to shine

Despite the many challenges that he has faced, DJ Disphoza is determined to become a shining star in the entertainment industry. Mmegi correspondent Eunice Masie sat down with him to find out what keeps the young DJ going.

Mmegi: Tell us a little bit about yourself?
DJ Disphoza:
My name is Mpho Mokgatle, I'm 22 years old and originally from Ramotswa. I was born and bred there; I spent most of my childhood there, schooled there and it's in Ramotswa that I grew my passion of becoming of DJ.

Mmegi: Describe your journey to becoming a DJ.
DJ Disphoza:
It all began in 2010 around the local bars in Ramotswa with some help from DJ MP of GabzFM. He taught me how to the decks. I then started to host parties and was invited to the local club by
T-Izzy of Yarona FM where I met Ricky Lamar and Phouboy and this gave me some recognition.
