FRANCISTOWN: Soon as they stepped on to the stage and started performing their stylish, energetic dance repetoires, Traditional Troupe, Ditau Tsa Setso had everyone captivated and jostling to get the best view of the performance at a fully-packed Culture day celebrated at Gerald estates in Francistown, Saturday.

Ditau Tsa Setso is a local traditional dance troupe. They specialise in the southern Tswana dance style, setapa. The culture day was celebrated opposite SHHA offices in Gerald estates. It was an effort of the collaborations between Gerald customary court and the ward elders, to celebrate a 'culture day' under the theme 'Ngwao Boswa Jwa Rona'.The dancers stole the hearts of the spectators as they  appeared on stage in single file, beating their feet against the ground in unison, hands raised high.

The dancers, all of  them showing off well-kept bodies, were even more impressive with their arrogance and mastery of the setapa dance style sometimes punctuated with slow motion  and freeze animations. In traditional Tswana style, satisfied revellers would come forward and pour money in a show of appreciation.
