Dancer-turned-singer aims for the stars

Bosele Mbi has travelled a long musical journey in a very short time. From 2010 she has performed with five top artists and she believes in that short span she has gained enough experience to fly on her own.

After an introduction to the music world two years ago, the young performer hopped from one group to another in search of greener pastures and refining her dancing skills in the process. She got her first break dancing for the talented Maxy (Olebile Sedumedi) in 2010.  Her confidence high after impressing the high profile musician on first try, Mbi did not hesitate to try out with another high-flying musician after leaving Maxy's group. She landed a role with Slizer's "dance crew" before she proceeded to Vebruk and later Rockers.  Her last job as a dancer was with Alfredo Mosimanegape.

The sexy young woman from Manyana has just dropped an album called Lefatshe La Rona, a tribute to peace and tranquillity that has existed in Botswana since independence.By her own admission, the 23-year-old is a much better dancer than a singer.  However, she believes her determination to emulate her childhood hero Franco (Frank Lesokwane) would go a long way in opening the doors to the top.
