Folklorist and poet Ntirelang Berman will lead a group of players and poets for a night of free entertainment and open mic session where anyone who feels they've got it are free to flaunt it on stage at Cresta Hotel on Thursday night.

The event coincides with the Day of the African Child.  The event is presented by Rhythm Art & Poetry, a youth-driven and youth-empowering initiative.

Berman says the idea is to provide a platform for artists who find it hard to penetrate the market and to help unlock commercial opportunities for them. The event brings together artists, poets, administrators, developers, sponsors, scholars, young business professionals, writers and appreciators.
