The My Star contestants redeemed themselves following a disastrous show last week that the judges defined as the worst night in the history of the popular music show, which is in its seventh season running.

The 14 remaining contestants came better prepared, stage-wise and vocally as all are fighting for a spot in the Top 10 as the show moves one step closer after four more hopefuls on Friday bid fans and the show farewell.

After an emotional battle among the seven contestants at the bottom being Tsebekgale, Kagiso, Khumiso, Lolo, Sesame, Queen and Eunice, the judges could only save Kagiso, Lolo and Queen who both showed powerful vocal performances despite earning less votes. The trio have a strong chance to win the competition and even go far provided the audience give them enough votes to continue.
