Cliff-hanger close for GBIMC

The maiden God Belongs In My City walk ended in style with X-Caliber founding member, Patrick 'Genirol' Kabamba belting out his upcoming EP's title track AE.

Prior to Kabamba singing the track, the organisers of the event shot a video for the GBIMC anthem.  X-Calibre, who also sang their popular track Ja Monate, then performed the anthem with A2J.  The leading local Hip-Hop gospel outfits performed as the walk came to a close at the Gaborone Club on Monday afternoon. But it was the man popularly known as Genirol,  whose upcoming track drew much interest. The song will surely leave his fans keen to hear the rest of the EP.

Kabamba is putting final touches to his solo EP and gave a taste to the pre-dominantly teenage crowd that attended the event. He said of the whole event.  "This was super significant - it inspires and encourages a lot of young people to see there are young people that love the Lord," he told Showbiz.  His female band-mate, Thato Kealotswe said their performance was just icing on the cake.  "It's awesome and I think it's high time we have a revival in our city."
