Chaos reign at Splash Show in Jwaneng

About P25,000 was stolen at a Splash show in Jwaneng on Friday night after a group of people overpowered security men and forced their way into Debswana Club, which hosted the festival for the popular disco group.

The group's manager Tips Molapisi confirmed to Showtime on Saturday morning that chaos broke out in the early hours of the morning when a group of "thugs" pretending to be fans started throwing bottles at the entrance.

"These people came when we were about to close around 4am and demanded to be let in despite failing to produce any tickets for the show.  They started throwing bottles and broke the aluminium door and in the midst of it all money was stolen. It was about P25,000 that was taken," Molapisi told Showtime.
