The TV presenter says that people are over exaggerating and have misunderstood her, as she is simply trying to build her own brand."I love the fact that people see elements of Bonang in me ; she is 'big' in the entertainment industry, so it simply means that I too am on my way of being a success. In life you cannot please everybody, people will have something to say," she said.
Podile describes herself as a spontaneous and carefree person, hence the loud personality that we see on TV. She said that her signing out on the show by exclaiming, "Your girl, Bonang!", that had people buzzing with negative rumours was intentional. It was not by mistake and her producer actually scripted the line. "I have always known that people believe I claim to be like Bonang, so that line was completely intentional. It wasn't a mistake. Nobody in their right mind would copy everything that a person says, including their names. That would be really dumb," she added.
