The My Star show, which has had to be moved from one location to another in recent weeks due to the ongoing public servants' strike had to kickoff late last Friday at a new venue, the GTC, as the gatekeepers had to wait patiently to raise enough numbers for the show.

The crowd is fast staying away from the weekly eliminations as the show has had to be moved from its traditional Btv premises, to GSS hall, then the army barracks, and now the GTC hall in Phase 4.

The waiting audience could be heard complaining about the late start. As the aspiring stars took to the stage for selection of the bottom six the audience could be heard complaining that the competition is not fair.
