Benson In Concert: Phuthego makes it a night to remember

A pre-independence Day show hosted at Maitisong, Benson In Concert did in fact live up and even surpass revellers' expectations.

Although the event started with only a handful of people but as the evening went by and the show intensified, the Maitsiong auditorium was almost packed to the rafters.The man in charge of coordinating the show, Comfort Ramatebele, popularly known by his stage name Big Fish, kept everyone in stitches as master of ceremonies (MC).

The opening act was done by a choir of young energetic singers - Gaborone Philharmonic Voices. Clad in black and white outfits, the choir warmed up the stage and sang a variety of choral songs.Shortly after the Philharmonic Voices, followed a performance by Makau, who elevated the mood and stole the show with their witty performances of theatre and music. The trio also performed their song Mokotedi that has lately been making waves.
