Barclay's choirs thrill

Banking business was put aside on Saturday as all Barclay's Bank regions competed in a choir competition that will see the winner representing the country at Barclay's International Choir Festival in South Africa next year.

After a night of choral delivery at Maitisong, in which 11 choirs battled it out,   Gaborone region came first, and will be representing Botswana in  2013 at the Johannesburg International Choir Festival .With their song Galaletsang Barclays, Barclays Park came in full force to surpass the expectations of the audience and judges.

Though the competition seemed very tough Barclays Park was ahead of the pack as their rendition received much applause and appreciation from the excited crowd. Not long before the competition started Kesego Ragontse kick-started the show with a poetry recital which left the audience hyped for more. Gaborone Industrial which includes the Ramotswa and Tlokweng branches were first on stage belting out Barclays Sekgantshwane, setting the bar high for other groups to come.
