All is set for this year's Letlhafula festival

The big traditional pots will be on the fires as Botswanacraft hosts the Letlhafula Cultural Festival on Saturday.

The organisers revealed in Gaborone yesterday that preparations are at an advanced stage and that tickets are already sold out.

The theme for this year's festival is Letlepu Tsina Ya Letlhafula, Re Ja Re Ikgora Menwana.  The organisers are working round the clock to ensure everything reflects the theme of the event, which refers to a rich harvest.  One of the event organisers, Bonno Kehupetse said things are going according to plan. Kehupetse said this year's festival would be spiced up with traditional music.  She revealed that they have selected three groups - Mogwana, Dikgafela and Kgabosetso - to perform on Saturday.  Both Mogwana and Dikgafela are Gaborone-based groups, while Kgabosetso is from Moshupa.  The three groups were selected after the auditions that were held.
