'Afro Africa' fashion label hits the market

Two enterprising youths, Tebogo Rapelang and Omar Bakali, have come up with a new fashion label called Afro Africa, which has proved to be a hit among trendy students.

The two business partners, who are both architecture students at the University of Botswana (UB), say that they were motivated by the will to succeed in life.

"As young people in the 21st century, all we want is to be self-reliant and the fact that we are architecture students is also the driving force behind the hard work that we have put into the project," Rapelang said in an interview with Showbiz.  He added that the love for the continent and its people also prompted them to come up with the company logo, which features the map of Africa and an Afro hairstyle.
