9-year-old 'Wonder Girl' to host beauty pageant

FRANCISTOWN: Phatsimo Mashu, a nine-year-old girl often referred to as a 'Wonder Girl' by her mother, Pinkie Mashu, due to being multi-talented, is to host a beauty contest titled, Miss Little Francistown.

The beauty contest will be held at Phase IV hall on April 16 involving girls aged between 11-15 years of age to raise funds for charity.

The 'Wonder Girl' hails from Tonota in the Central District and attended school at Saint Arnold English Medium School there. Phatsimo is a jack of all trades because of her ability to do almost everything. Mashu (mother) told Showbiz that her daughter started appearing in newspapers when she was two-years-old because of her talent in poetry.
