Botswana denies hosting a US military base

Botswana government has shot down claims that the country is host to the United States of America (USA) military base at Thebephatswa Air Base Barracks despite the on going allegations.

For years now, Botswana has been repeatedly accused of hosting the US Military Base, with popular South African politician, Julius Malema, at the forefront of the allegations.

In an attempt to put an end to the matter to the on going debate whether Botswana does have a US military base, government released a statement this morning to set the record straight.

For too long, the state of many public schools has been a source of shame. We have all seen the pictures and heard the stories of broken windows, unreliable water and electricity, topped by classrooms that are not fit for proper learning. The establishment of the Education Infrastructure and Management Company Ltd (EIMC) signals that authorities are finally ready to take this problem seriously. We must commend the government for this initiative....
