Yacob/Hannington pair leave Big Brother house

It has happened, one pair has left the Big Brother Revolution (BBR) house, and the victims are Yacob Yehdego, from Ethiopia, and Hannington Kuteesa, from Uganda.

The housemates were paired off last week, and the rules were such that the pairs play the game as one, meaning should one get nominated the partner automatically gets nominated for eviction. For this pair, however, none can blame the other for getting them evicted as both received almost the same number of nominations for possible eviction by fellow housemates. The two who perhaps did not imagine that they would be the ones leaving the house, had set aside a bottle of Champagne, for celebrations after Sunday's live eviction show. But unfortunately for them DStv viewers' favourites this time around was the team comprising Tanzania's Elizabeth Gupta and Nigeria's Kevin Chuwang.

Perhaps, it was fortunate that the two were voted to stay in the house, as they were put up for possible eviction by the week's head of house, Zimbabwe's Itai Makumbe, who decided to save his fellow country woman, Kristal Culverwell who was playing alongside South Africa's Quinn Siebe at the expense of the Elizabeth/Kevin pair.
